CalDigit has built Thunderbolt and USB-C hardware from Fullerton, California since 2006, and has been a Thunderbolt developer since the standard arrived in 2011. The range covers docking stations such as the TS4 and Element Hub, USB-C hubs, single cable display and charging setups, and portable SSD storage.

The design language is machined aluminium and not much else. No lights, no flourishes, just full wattage power supplies and sustained bandwidth across several displays and drives at once, which is what the content creation industry actually asks of a dock.
