You don't need to worry about lack of ventilation to your laptop. Most laptops with cooling fans are designed with this in mind, so the base of the laptop is slightly elevated or there are additional fans on the sides or behind the laptop to support airflow.

We know it's important to stay clean. If the fabric needs cleaning, simply use a clean eraser to remove any dirt or dab lightly with damp cloth.
