Where are you located?
We're at Unit 17, 6-8 Herbert St, St Leonards NSW. Sandwiched between the Australia Post Business Hub and Reece Plumbing.
Are you an Australian business or some dodgy online seller?
We are Aussie born and owned by the same family since conception.
We started in Crows Nest in 1989 with a stint in Artarmon before moving to our current premises in St Leonards.
Our ABN is 73632271508.
Our website is on the Shopify platform and payments are processed via Shopify Payments.
We're the official distributor for most of our brands so all stock is 100% genuine and any support enquiries will be handled here in St Leonards.

Patience my friend. We usually ship on the same business day if your order swings through by 2:30pm (99% of the time the postie is here at around 3pm) or next business day.
Tracking is provided from Australia Post.
I need to cancel/change something with my order.
No probs! Shoot us an email to orders@tryandbyte.com.au (we obsessively check our emails within business hours).
I tried to place an order but I got an error page.
This could be due to a number of reasons:
- Insufficient stock: if you are trying to order a large number of the same item, we might not have enough stock. Please send us an email to check -https://tryandbyte.com.au/pages/contact
- Payment details incorrect: please ensure your billing address matches the credit card you are using.
If none of the above reasons are valid, please try a different browser or clear your cookies and try again.
I tried to place an order and I got an error page, but there is a charge on my account.
In this situation, it means that your credit card company gave authorisation for payment but the payment was not charged as the order was not successfully processed.
The charge will be removed within a few days time.

Can I pick up my order?
Sure can. Please choose 'pick up' at checkout and we'll let you know when it is ready (usually within the same day the order is placed if within business hours).

Yep! Flat rate $8 anywhere in Australia.

Standard shipping is free anywhere in Australia.
Express post is $8 anywhere in Australia.
I'm overseas, how much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated at checkout (based on weight, size and how much insurance is needed).

Sorry, I've changed my mind.
That's okay - we accept returns if the item is in like new condition (no rips, tears, scratches, dents, smells, animal hairs please) and there is no damage to the product packaging whatsoever.
