Charge your laptop up to 94W, add devices and light up dual monitors, all with a single cable, regardless of your connectivity. For the first time ever go from a Mac (Thunderbolt 3) to a Windows PC (USB-C or Thunderbolt 3) or even a USB-C Chromebook without any challenges. It doesn’t just stop at computers, the USB-C HDMI Dock also works with the iPad Pro, Windows USB-C phones/tablets and Android USB-C phones, delivering a full desktop experience with external monitors, keyboard, mouse, Ethernet, external USB drives and charging.

Connect

As more and more of us are working in multi-workflow environments with various Type-C laptops and tablets, we need a dock that will adapt to our specific needs.

CalDigit has solved this challenge and developed the USB-C HDMI Dock, a device that will adapt to any USB-C (Type-C) laptop it connects to. When connected to a Thunderbolt 3 laptop it offers full 40Gb/s performance, and when connected to a USB-C laptop it provides 10Gb/s performance in order to supply exactly what your laptop requires.

Charge

Not only is the USB-C HDMI Dock versatile, it also offers up to 94W power delivery, for laptops that require more power.

As many PC manufacturers make it difficult to know what ports their laptops have, the USB-C HDMI Dock takes the guesswork out of choosing the right docking solution.

Fast Laptop Charging Up To 94W

The USB-C HDMI Dock offers up to 94W laptop charging. This makes it an ideal solution for larger laptops such as the 16” MacBook Pro.

Whether you’re connected to a Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4, or USB-C laptop, the USB-C HDMI Dock will charge your laptop up to 94W.

Dual HDMI Connectivity Built-In

The USB-C HDMI Dock has two built-in HDMI 2.0b connectors for directly connecting dual 4K 60Hz monitors in either “Extended” or “Mirrored” configurations to your Thunderbolt 3 laptop without the need for any USB-C video adapters. Apple M1 laptops can connect to a single external monitor, allowing you to expand your laptop’s built-in screen to one external “Extended” monitor.⁵

USB-C users can connect up to a single 4K 30Hz monitor, or up to dual 2K 30Hz monitors depending on the configuration, bandwidth, and DisplayPort version of their computer.

NOTE- Dual Displays are not supported with MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and Mac mini powered by M1 models.

UHS-II Card Reader

Save time and work efficiently with the USB-C HDMI Dock’s built-in SD 4.0 UHS-II Card Reader. Transfer hundreds of large files quickly and easily.

USB-C & USB-A Ports

The front-facing USB-C 10Gb/s port offers double the performance, and is ideal for connecting ultra-fast SSD storage devices. The remaining 3x USB-A 5Gb/s are great for adding various USB devices to the USB-C HDMI Dock.

Audio In/Out

The convenient front-facing combo Audio port allows users to easily to connect headphones or speakers.

Wired Connection

If you’re sitting at your desk connected to your dual monitors and various devices, why not take advantage of your home or office’s wired Ethernet connection and benefit from a more consistent connection.

Evolved Your USB-C Tablet Into A Workstation

The USB-C HDMI Dock is fully compatible with Windows tablets, iPad Pro, and the iPad Air (4th Gen). This versatility allows users to take advantage of tablet charging, single monitor connectivity, and external storage support, in order to turn your tablet into a full workstation.

High-Performance USB-C Port

Don’t sacrifice on speed when it comes to connecting an SSD to your HDMI Dock. The front USB-C port features 10Gb/s performance, allowing you to access your files faster than ever. Whether you need to edit high-resolution content, or just back-up your data, the HDMI Dock’s USB-C port offers outstanding performance.

Expanded Flexibility

The USB-C HDMI Dock is also compatible with non Type-C laptops, for added flexibility. If you have a laptop that has a USB-A port only, you can still take advantage of the USB-C HDMI Dock’s USB connectivity with some limited functionality.
**USB-A users will need a USB-C to USB-A cable sold separately.

Stand Alone Charging

All USB-A ports on the USB-C HDMI Dock offer Stand Alone Charging functionality that allows the dock to charge USB devices, such as iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch up to 7.5W without the laptop connected.

Superdrive

Many docks or hubs on the market are not capable of powering the Apple SuperDrive. This is because the SuperDrive requires a higher amount of power from the USB port, and in fact it’s recommended to connect it directly to the laptop’s USB port. CalDigit saw this as a challenge and developed a driver for the SuperDrive to work with the USB-C HDMI Dock. (*SuperDrive support in macOS requires one time only driver installation.)
